Welcome to the Everett Free Library’s website!
The library serves the residents of Everett Borough, and East Providence, Hopewell, Mann, Monroe, Snake Spring, Southampton, and West Providence Townships in Bedford County, PA. You will discover collections of popular fiction and nonfiction books, audiobooks, magazines, the local paper, programming, 8 computers for public use, Wi-Fi, and more. We have some of the local papers on microfilm and a microfilm reader/scanner/printer for those researching the history of Bedford County or of their family. Through the Altoona District, we are able to offer rentals of EBooks to those that have a library card. The Everett Community Room has many different uses including a meeting room, a game room, and a room for studying/reading. The Helen Sipes Young Adult Den has room to do homework, read or socialize, 2 internet and Microsoft Office enabled computers, and books designated for teens. The Elsie Mae Colvin Children’s Corner has books for the youngest children to the tweens. Most importantly, you will find a library staff attuned and ready to serve your needs.
