How do I apply for a Library Card?
To receive an adult library card, you must provide a PHOTO ID and CURRENT address. Children under the age of 18 must have a guardian’s address and signature on their application card. To save time, you can fill out a pre-application card at everett.sparkpa.org.
What is the My Info button on the Online Catalog?
When accessing the Online Card Catalog you will be able to view your own Patron Information checkouts, fines, and holds. Click on ‘My Info’ and enter your library barcode number. The password is the last 4 digits of your phone number.

How can I reserve an item that is out?

How many items can I borrow?
A patron may borrow 50 items on their card. There are a few restrictions on the number of certain types of items you can borrow. Restrictions may be placed on certain subjects in connection with school assignments.
What are the Library’s hours?

- Tues: 1 – 8 pm
- Wed: 10 am – 5 pm
- Fri: 9 am – 7 pm
- Sat: 9 am – 4 pm
Can I request items from other Libraries?
If we don’t have the book you are looking for we can borrow it from other libraries through Interlibrary Loans.
Can I donate books to the Library?
We welcome donations of books that are in good condition. Many are added to the library collection. Others are sold at the Friends of the Library sponsored book sales. These sales raise funds for the Library.
How do I give a book in memory or honor of someone?
You may also make a contribution in Memory or Honor of a friend or loved one. This can be done by requesting a book memorial or a gift to the memorial fund. These contributions help purchase Library materials. Books bear a special bookplate showing a gift in memory of someone special.
Do you have Internet Access?
Computers are available for patron use. Each time you log into one of our computers, you agree not to do anything illegal.
Can I make copies?
Black and white copies are available for $.25.
Can I send a fax?
Fax service is available for both sending and receiving faxes. Sending a fax is $2.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each additional page. Receiving a fax is $1.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each additional page.

Connecting to WiFi
- Am I able to use my device to connect to the internet at Everett Free Library? Our library provides free wireless to its patrons.
- May I plug my device in when using the internet at the library? Although there are some power outlets available for patron use, there is a limited number of them so we suggest ensuring your device is fully charged before arriving at the library.
- How do I connect my device to the internet? Make sure your wireless card is active. Look at the list of networks on your device’s available internet connections screen. The network you want to choose Library.
- What if I am not able to connect to the internet? Our library’s staff can only provide limited technical support in helping you connect to the internet. Remember that not all devices are created equal and that some devices, especially older ones, may not be able to access our network.
- Is my computer and my information safe? Our network is an unsecured network. Any information sent over it may be able to be viewed by someone else. Also, you are responsible for having your own antivirus software to protect your device.
- Can I print files or web pages from my device using the library’s printer? Yes, we have printers that print from wireless devices. Ask at the desk for help.
