Childrens Services: Elsie May Colvin Children's Corner Story-Hour is open to all pre-schoolers each Friday from 11am-12pm. No registration is necessary. The library also offers summer reading programs. Please call the library at the end of the school year to inquire about starting dates. The children's collection contains fiction, non-fiction, audio cassettes and BIG books! A puppet theater is available. Robert C. Baker Technology Room Internet access and word processing are available. Pennsylvania Room Collection Local history and family genealogies are available for use in the library. Interlibrary Loan: Can't find what you need? Ask a library worker about borrowing materials from another library. Microfilm The Bedford County Press / Everett Press is available from 1868 to 1982. There are some years missing in the early 1900's. Bedford County Census records are also available on microfile. The reader/printer makes copies of microfilm pages for $0.25

Copier / Fax Copies are $0.25. Faxes are $2.00 first page and $1.00 for additional pages to send. To receive faxes, the cost is $1.00 the first page, and $0.50 for each following page. Besides our print selection, you may want to look into ACCESS PA POWER, located on one of the Internet computers. POWER offers thousands of full-text periodicals that you can search by subject, keyword or magazine title. Pictures and graphics are also included.
